The company 'RMI' was formed in 2007 by the owner, Dr. Bob Ings, and is based in Redwood City, CA, US.
Redwood City is a suburb of San Francisco situated on the peninsula, central to the Bay area biotechnology community (see map). There is easy access by either mass transport or car to all of the Bay area including San Francisco, San Jose, Mountain View, Fremont, Berkeley, Palo Alto and Stanford and is also served by the international airports of San Francisco and San Jose.
The Bay area is a center of innovation with many world class universities within easy reach and a plethora of exciting biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Even with richness of the drug discovery and development industry within the Bay area, RMI has developed interests throughout the West Coast including Canada, the Mid West and is extending to the East Coast and Europe with the objective of having a truly global reach.
